He was a request  'Portrait' custom re-painted by myself for a client to be painted the same as her beloved 'Snuffy welsh pony'. for this I used information from clients photograph...

Prepping involved the usual, pains takingly sanding him down as smooth as possible, then re-sculpting her facial features, defining ears, nostrils, muzzle and hooves using the dremmel. Then began work resculpting by building up body and facial features where needed with epoxy resin.

He was airbrushed with acrylic base then dry brushed with hand painted details and then top coated with durable matt varnish. He now has glossy shod hooves,  lovely black colouration, with a sock, adorable brown eyes and a lovely velvetty nose.
